By becoming a member of the Pequawket Lake Preservation, you are directly supporting the work that the PLPA does to protect the lake, its inhabitants, and the larger ecosystem.

FAQs

  • Membership includes:

    • Full Member voting rights to (1) member of that household, the ability to hold office, and the ability to create and serve on a PLPA committee.

    • Any immediate family member of that Full Member’s household who is at least 21 years of age may receive these benefits as well.

    • Opportunities to attend local conferences, educational trainings, and similar events.

  • Please read the bylaws to ensure that your household meets the criteria for membership.

    Then, either send a paper membership application to us by mail along with your $25 in dues or visit us in-person at our Annual Meeting to sign up.

  • Annual Dues are $25 per household, to be paid in full on or before the PLPA Annual Meeting in July. We appreciate any donation in addition to these annual dues.

  • Your Annual Dues and donations go directly to supporting the PLPA’s work, including, but very much not limited to:

    - Monthly water quality training and testing

    - Semi-annual invasive plant training and monitoring

    - Loon nest deployment and maintenance

    - Maintenance of the spillway

    - Education and outreach programs related to lake management

    - Mitigation projects for erosion, invasive species, and water quality issues
