We have a variety of volunteer options including:
Ongoing water quality testing - Time commitment is approximately 1.5 hours, bi-weekly from May to October. Must be able to get certified through Lake Stewards of Maine program (click here for details). Learn more about our Water Quality work!
Regularly scheduled events - Time commitment is between 1-2 hours, depending on the event. Various events throughout the year that fit your interest!
LakeSmart evaluation - Time commitment is less than 1 hour, with the ability to schedule site-visits at a time that is convenient to you. Must be able to get trained through the Maine Lakes program (click here for more details).
Ongoing invasive plant monitoring - Time commitment is varied but with the ability to schedule at your leisure. Option to get certified through Lake Stewards of Maine (click here for more details).
